The life of a flag also depends upon its flying time. A flag that is flown constantly (24 hours per day) cannot last as long as a flag flown from dawn ‘til dusk. It must be recognised that the flying time of a flag is more than doubled, thus its life is considerably reduced.
Flag can be expected to last between from 3 month to 6 months, depending on the weather condition and the material used.
Digital print flags cannot be washed as the chemical will react with the dye. However, gentle washing for screen printing and heat transfer flags should be fine.
The Singapore flag must be seen on the far left pole from the point of view of an observer. In other words, It can be on the far left pole or far right pole (depending on the direction of the observer).
The length and height of the Singapore flag must be in the ratio of 3:2. There is no single fixed size for flags but there customized flag must be equal or smaller than Singapore flag if there are to be hung together.
The lead time depends on the quantity and the type of flag you require. Generally, the production lead time is 3-5 working days (1 week) for a digital print or heat transfer customized flag, or 7-10 working days (2 weeks) for screen printing flags.
